Network meetings
- According to the Polish Network Internal Rules the coordinator of the network is obliged to organize at least one network meeting a year. Please, see below short summaries of the latest meetings.
- To facilitate promotion of the Anna Lindh Foundation and its mission as well as to increase ALF visibility in Poland and improve communication with network members in various regions of Poland, there also regional network meetings organized - see more.
The secretariat of the Foundation organizes also meetings for the network coordinators of the 43 participating countries - to learn more.
Annual Meeting of the Polish Network 2009
From March 3 to March 4, 2009 the International Cultural Centre hosted the Annual Meeting of the Polish Network of the Anna Lindh Foundation. The meeting gathered over 49 people, both the present network members and the invited guests from 8 new Polish organizations. Also, the national Heads from Austria, Greece, Israel and Germany arrived in Kraków to participate in the meeting which was further attended by a staff member of the Anna Lindh Secretariat in Alexandria and a representative of the Ministry of Culture and National Heritage. The meeting provided an opportunity to discuss the Triennial Programme of the Foundation as well as the activities of the Polish Network in the period of May 2009 – May 2010. Finally, the meeting resulted in the arrival of the Internal Network Rules as well as joint projects of the Polish Network.

Annual Meeting of the Polish Network 2010
49 members of the Polish ALF from all over Poland gathered in Krakow for the events of the annual meeting of the Polish Network of the Anna Lindh Foundation – the biggest gathering of the Polish network since its establishment in 2005.
Opened by the Deputy Director of the ICC, Ms. Anna Gawron, the two-day event consisted of a variety of activities which made it possible to address the needs of the assembled members of the Polish ALF. The first day was divided into two parts – the first situating the ALF in a more global context of the Union for the Mediterranean, and the other focusing exclusively on the management and functioning of the Polish Network. The meeting was honoured by the participation of the ALF Executive Director, Mr. Andreu Claret and Ms. Anna Raduchowska-Brochwicz, Plenipotentiary of the Minister of Foreign Affairs for the Barcelona Process/Union for the Mediterranean. Moreover, there were special guests invited - the winners of the two subsequent editions of the EuroMed Award, i.e. Combatants for Peace, awarded in 2009 and represented in Krakow by Ms. Tamar Arenson and Ms. Leena Baidas and EcoPeace/Friends of the Earth Middle East, awarded in 2010 and represented by its director Mr. Nader Khateeb.

Every year the Polish Coordinator organises a series of regional meetings with both present and potential members of the Polish Network of the Anna Lindh Foundation. Their objective is to reach organisations and institutions in various regions of Poland that work in the field of intercultural dialogue, tolerance, peace and coexistence – especially those that have not yet become acquainted with the mission of the Anna Lindh Foundation and could be a valuable asset to both the Polish Newtork and the ALF as a whole.

In 2009 and 2010 10 Polish a number of cities was reached, including Katowice, Wrocław, Warszawa, Łódź, Lublin, Krosno, Jarosław, Rzeszów, Kraków, Poznań, Toruń.
News: The 2011 series of regional meetings begins with the one in Szczecin on May 17. The meeting is conducted together with the Association of Leaders and Fundraisers. It will take place in the Lentz Villa at 4 p.m.
The regional meetings in Gdańsk, Szczecin, Olsztyn, Białystok and Przemyśl are to be scheduled in the nearest weeks.
